Fall asleep in my arms, never to wake up ever again
Morning comes as a surprise to the solitary heart
This world within my mind, did it ever even exist?
I wish my touch could mend your bleeding wounds
And mark my existence in your time
I fight the impending lure of belated sleep
For fear of waking up and you are gone.
