No need to act surprised when I say that I'm aware of how you wonder
everyday of what it is that makes you want to go away when there really is
no reason for you not to stay.

See, I know that there are things in your past that you have to deal with and
I know you thought these wounds, they would heal with time, but it turns out
they're much harder than you thought that they would be. And you feel it, oh,
so deep every time you look at me.

But if you stay by my side, then one day when we've grown older, you'll look
at me and smile and you'll say:

"Do you remember back when we were 26? I used to feel like I was so much
older. Do you remember how I used to reminisce and look back on what I
should have done? Isn't that absurd?"

So, I'm asking you to reconsider, think of all the good times that we have
had. Open up your heart and all the pain pours out. And when you're through
with tears, I will still be here. But if you stay by my side, then one day when
we've grown older, you'll look at me and smile and you'll say:
