You can isolate me, but you'll never break my
will
You can drug me, you can shock me, but my soul you cannot kill
In your
eternal night, in my heart there is a light
and you're the only one who's in
the dark

You can deprive of sleep, refuse to let me eat,
tie up my hands
and tie up my feet
Hang me upside down, drop me on the ground,
but you're the
only one who's in the dark

You can burn me, you can freeze me, you can throw
me down a hole,
Undress me and disgrace and tie me to a pole
Deafen me and
blind me, but in my eyes remains a spark
and you're the only one who's in the
dark

You can cut me, you can drown me, you can beat me with a stick
You can
leash me, you can lash me, you can hit and you can kick
Take away my bite and
take away my bark,
but you're the only one who's in the dark
