Another Heaven Burns

One hand with darkness comes, but one all darkness quells
Attribute faith to gods, but never to ourselves
The human spirit leashed, leashed by the hand of light
Soon the time will come, when man again shall fight

Another truth shall burn

The sword forged by a man, and the hand that wields it: holy
Yet faith is not the spirit, the pure, the one, the only
The spirit itself prevails, is free of Gaia's crust
For religions live as empires, they rise and fall to dust

Not by his sins was slain, but by the sword alone
And the rest with time, unto the earth they turn
For man shall have no rival, and another heaven burns
