The Best Time

I notice my fingers start to tremble
I feel butterflies that meet
with knees that are much too weak for standing
and lungs that can barely breathe

oh, the time passes by
the colors, they seem so bright
all the clouds disappear and it seems that the sunlight shines
through the night

stay up until all the energy fades
anything to hold on so it won't slip away
remember everything that makes this a wonderful day

when I awoke in deep blue water
with my head about to sink
I never imagined what was coming could be such and amazing thing
