If I Don't Do It

I put in forty plus hours just like him
In the dog-eat-dog, in the sink or swim
I believe in equal work, equal pay
And that shouldn't end at the end of the day

But when I get home there's so much to do
Like watering plants, feeding the cat
And I'm pretty sure he can see it too
So how come it's up to me?
