Flying By Faith

Migrating upward as led by the spirit
Unerring in flight toward heaven on high
Freed from sin's winter to enter god's sunlight
Jesus, our savior, calls us to flight

Having no wings nor compass to guide us
Only the promise of jesus the way
We'll rise at the trumpet and angelic shouting
Ready to leave anytime, any day

We're in the flyway
Our future assured us
Born of the spirit
Saved only by grace
So let's live our lives
The more to be like him

Then when earth's winter has its ending
A thousand years summer
A new earth in view
Our final migration
Toward heaven will happen
