The village is deserted, the last of them are gone
Darkness is revealed and fear has struck them all
The castle wants protection against killers on the road
The unknown Count Of Darkness, may noone come near at all

The peaceful life of farmers, was the gift to tame a land
Noone ever knew, that the beast was one of them
Torches always burning to keep predators away
The darkness kills the fire and the predator flies in

The village people shout, when they knew the beast was out
The count is no salvation from drifters or starvation
