Backwards

I've maintained falling on my face
For my own protection
My mistake was having placed my faith
In the wrong direction

Falling forward works
But only if you learn to fall
Backwards first, I am
I'm falling backwards again

As a way of knowing
Angels came, spread their legs and waved
As a way of showing

I will always ask
If you're always there to have my
Backwards I'm am
I'm falling backwards again

I have angels and
They're offering their eyes
