The Reflection

No one’s seen all aspects
Does every soul possess a face
Hiding in safety from what’s on surface
What is one’s identity?
No longer do I know how “truth” is defined
I don’t know where to go
Can someone come and tell me?

Passage, predetermined
Days of living in scenarios
Take what is said, accept and follow
Voices, from deep in the soul
A recognition of timbre and the tone
Something I’ve always felt, a message and a sign

Outer force, repression, all for you
Carrying on deception, where’s virtue

When I find conditions we trace
As every emotion binds
I just wanna throw it all away
Go and see, move forward like you
No matter how they’re to view
Inner and the outer sides, this battle goes on

Mirror, my reflection
Which side is the one I truly am
Do I remain, deceiving infections
I can no longer resist
When every thought and emotion’s here within
Living in me, exists, it’s waiting for a way out

Sounds of self found under, to pursue
No more will I wander, with my truth
