Push your faith to the side for once and take a look around
You're counting sin for sin
What you preach you contradict

In order for us to grow you need to really admit
How shallow and narrow minded you have really been
Hang your head, you backwards traditionalist

You're driving people to ground
And you don't even know it I'm just so sick of all the bullshit
You're getting nowhere fast
So why are you rushing to conclusions?
You could at least explain that

Fooling profits, feeding coffins
I can see no guilt in your eyes
But what would you know?
You're living a lie you're too caught up hands clasped

Begging forgiveness for a life of your own
Oh believer, is this your last strand of hope?
Can you hold your own? I can't hold on any longer

And the worst part of it all is that you know what you've done
Attempting to count your blessings when you know you've got none
So in the name of the father, the son and the holy ghost
Could you still get into heaven if you blamed yourself?
