Fallen Brothers

There was a time
when fear and despair
darkened these lands
Few could withstand
the fury which tried
to enslave everything on its way

So blind was the hate
too fragile the will
No means were spared
to lead us to either death or astray

All their cruel deeds
were driven by greed
So many dreams were crushed
under their feet

Too much had this land
had to endure
and the worst was yet
to come

On that night they came
with their bloody arms
which were risen by the fear
of their own god's wrath

Soon the coast was set on fire
and the whole world seemed to kneel
before their might

The light of their flames
already glowed in the night
But we weren't ready
to forsake our pride

The whispers of death echoed
in the wind, but no one feared
So beautiful were those
barren plains we beheld

There we stood,
calm and silent...
prepared for anything

The world shall never forget
those days of courage and ruin
when every single man yelled for his land
as we finally met

We gave everything, and none less was taken
as we stroke our way through the dark...
shadows were hollow after all
