Beyond cliffs that dwell in darkness
Lurks the entrance to her den
Once you're lost inside her hollow

Born from the seas
Spawn of hades
Hypnotic stares
No mortal dares
Entering the gates leading

Inside Medusa's lair
Shun her fatal glare
The force of wicked eyes

Dim light flickers through the tunnels
Damp air filling up your lungs
The only sound your heartbeat
And hissing serpent tongues

Deep inside the temple
A lake cold and still
Horrors concealed by waters below
Creep yup behind her
The age held high
Her sisters eyes following you
Within rows of pillars
Frozen in shock
Poor souls who dared her before
A sudden rattle
