Second Best

Just this once i would like to reach an end
Of something great maybe something i have made
With my own hands developed in my mind
Would like to say i didn't wast my time
I wanna know how it feels to be content
To be satisfied with time and effort well spent
Fall asleep with a smile on my face so proud
Finally pulled myself out of the haze

But it all seems so far away,(guess there's nothing left to say)
I will wake up tomorrow where i fall asleep today, sleep today
And it all feels so long ago (when i first told myself no)
Nothing but a puppet, nothing but a show
