Forests sleep around me
In eternal slumber
Frosty spell of winter
Is tearing me asunder

Snowberries like bloodstains
Spread across the valley
Birds are chirping somewhere
But I can't hear their calling

Ice wraiths are getting near
I sense a looming threat
I feel prevenient fear
And rage which they beget

A veil of timelessness
Confuses all the traces
Here the lost travelers
Find their final resting places

None on land
Nor you, nor me
Will be again
As should be

Pale winter
Day by day
Takes a piece
Of me away

Blood on the snow
And a pile of bones
In nocturnal flames
Nothing remains

Frailty of life
Imminence of death
Dark pale winter
Gave me last breath

Lead me to the hall of valor
Hear my final prayer
Show the way with your cold hand
Lead me to the end

Can the Moon reduce
Hunter's bloody hunger?
Shadows wander near

Through the gloomy branches
I see bloody fires
Necromancer's dance
Cries are full of madness
