A Fairy Tale

And from the shadows came a song
Dedicated to the stars
Dancing through the night in white
The fairies, wide awake tonight

The autumnwind carried their song in the night
And over the hills they danced, surrounded by light
Hidden through the years protected by our fairytales
This beautiful scenery was no longer fantasy

The chilling wind spoke through the trees
I smiled and fell down to my knees
Feelings I had never known
Feelings I had never shown

And there I was watching... in tears
A mind beside my own, to me unknown
And as I felt something I'd never felt before
I cried... hoping for more

Like a cool winterbreeze I felt something strange
Felt like I had become one of them

I closed my eyes and heard the melody, oh so beautiful
Like a leaf in the autumn wind, I rode the air

I saw a light shining so bright
I felt my heart turn to stone

It seemed like years, I screamed in fear
and in the rain, I screamed in pain
