If being a hipster was part of my plan
I'd walk around with a coffee in my hand
But it's not, so i won't

I'd wear 'em all the time and so would my friends

If smoking cigs made me look sheik
I'd get cancer by the end of the week

I'd wanna listen to him just like you
But he's not, he's okay

And what ever happened to me
And all the things i used to be
I hide behind a scarf and a graphic tee
Quite frankly i am weak

And if being hardcore was part of my plan
I'd draw some x's on the back of my hand
But it's not, so i won't

And if going to shows was my first priority
I wouldn't miss a show each and every week
