Life is sleep, reality's a dream, controlled by your fate
Hypnotized by a false belief, my world of joy could not relate
Being awake would become a nightmare, as the daylight strains my eyes
They all hide in greed and destruction, losing character in their disguise

Torn from the veins, but stuck to my skin
I search without end, for the afterlife to begin
