I'm glad to remind you that I've fallen
In case you didn't notice, I'm half the person I used to be
I flew so high, I almost could touch the sky
But everything has it's price
The higher they are, the harder they fall

Slow down and get some rest
Come out and brace yourself

I see the Sun up high
So harsh, it blinds my sight
I've never seen a light so bright
And along it brings some warmth
It burns but keeps me alive
Strange how things worked out this time
Broken with the will to survive
