Sitting by the fire camp I spent the night with my old friends
We lit up the fire, with wood sticks and stones
There were wolves howling, owls flying, and old songs
We started remember things from a long, long time ago
And here we are now!
Gone, long gone
We were around 15 and took our bikes towards the trail
Heading piano creek and their cold waterfalls
We climbed up the stone peek and saw the ocean down below
A hot and sunny day that we won’t forget no more
We won't forget no!
Gone, long gone!
There were no paved streets, no traffic, no concerns
We used to play outside from dawn till dusk
Sometimes we played marbles, sometimes football
Sometimes we flew a kite and sometimes baseball
And we were all there
Gone, long gone
The time flew that night surrounded by my friends
Just like our entire lives we remembered that day
We had amazing times and we would do the same again
One thing I know for sure! Our friendship won't be gone!
It won't be gone! No!
Gone, long gone!
