Hands marked by service
Arms ready for forgiveness

That refuse easy thrones
That dispense with vain crowns
That prefer Your law
To the applause of people

Give me lives that seek You
Day and night
Thirst and bread
That worship You in Your presence
And love You more than the very ground itself
