Crooked Creek will take me home
Straight to my door, I will not roam
I’ll find a way to be home by the morning

Shallow bed is good for walking
Pebbles lie both coarse and ground
Seasons flows, they have yet to come around

I long to lye my head beside you
Rise my feet up off this ground
Close my eyes, and settle down

And when I find my time is ending
I’ll find peace in parting ways
