Hey today im going to break down purple haze into bits and finally your gonna get out
something like jimi hendrix’s version.
Now particularly for this reason we aren’t gonna cover the intro as we are short in time
so I’m gonna skip straight to the chord shapes.

Your first chord is this:
Em! To play this shape put your first finger on the second fret
on the b string.Do the same with your 3rd finger on the d string- strum all the strings-
hey presto! you got a Em chord.


If you don't already know the G chord just google it and you'll be fine


Now this is when it gets tricky- try changing between the Em and G like below until you can change quickly


Em Em G G Em Em ...


Lets take a break and revise part 1- learning a sample chord progression.
Remember-the only thing that can help you is patience.


Now, after a break lets get into it...presto the strumming pattern. Repeat that a couple of times and then
