My steps seem a little slower
There is a touch of gray in my hair
And my heart has to try a little harder, every time that I climb a stair
I suppose there's a certain sadness, now that autumn's at my door
But as time sweeps away, I find everyday
I've so much to be thankful for
I can still share the splendor of a sunset
Watch the wild guist on the wind
And the best things I life I've discovered
Though it only happened in the spring
So my eyes grow a little weary
But I find as tired as they are
They can still count the ribbons of the rainbows
And the candles that light every star
In my arms is a strength to hold you
And no man can ask for more
As the years come and go, our love seems to grow
I've so much to be thankful for
In my arms is a strength to hold you
And no man can ask for more
As the years come and go, so our love seems to grow
I've so much to be thankful for
