I wake up before the Sun rises
To care for the oxen, my day begins
In the green pasture, where life is simple
I follow the path, with my viola in my arms

Dust in the wind, I walk along
Free-roaming cattle, in the open field so strong
With every step, I feel at home
And the country life, is where I belong

The peaceful cattle, in the green pasture

Life is tough, but it's beautiful too
