Torn by bleak winds
I cannot seize
The memories are
The ones that keep
Visions of splendour and decay

Behold them as messengers
Of sorrow born of bliss
For lands once beautiful
Were taken by the storm

Made of clay
Are the dreams
I pave my own way with
Like the ruins
